I hope someone here has some experience with a technique I have an idea for. I need to make 500 daisies for some cupcakes. I was going to cut them with my Silhouette using icing sheets and then place them in forms to dry to give some them motion. Is this doable? I just got the Silhoutte and have never used icing sheets. How far in advance can I make them...if I can make them? Will they be extremely fragile...more fragile than gumpaste? I do not want to make 500 daisies out of gumpaste...lol

A lot depends on the brand of icing sheet you use. The Icing Images Premium designer sheets will last a long time. Just put them in an air tight bag when storing and you will be absolutely fine. I have designs in my office that Linda McClure made 8 months ago and they are still fine!
