Hi all, has anyone used edible diamonds? I heard that they can go cloudy or misty if put on cake too soon or handled a lot.
Would like to use them for my first wedding cake! So don't want it spoiled, any advice would be great
Yes, they do get cloudy after a while. I've used them and here is what I do.
I either spray them with veggie oil or brush veggie oil on them right before its time to use them.
I wait until the very last minutes that I know my customer will be on the way to pickup the cake and then I add them on. If u have a large amount gthat yr using, just time yrself well for the adding on at the last minute.
