Hi. I am a beginner to all of this and have a question for all you experts out there. When you are putting a stacked cake on a stand or pedestal, do you put the cake directly onto the stand? I have a bride who wants a 3 tier square cake (16,12,
and she rented an 18 inch base. I have only used masonite boards as a base in the past. Any tips are appreciated!

YEs, have your stacked cake on board and then transport to stand OR put bottom layer on cake stand then stack on stand with no need to transport. Good luck and welcome to cake decorating!!
