Hello. I volunteered to make a birthday cake for my mom's 68th birthday and was going to make a simple cake with a flower using the petal technique. Found out today that we will also be celebrating my twin nephew's 12th birthday as well (mom is New Year's Eve baby and nephews are NY Day babies 
). So...what the heck do I make now?! I have the cake made already - a 2 layer 9x13 cake so I have to work with that shape. I guess I could go with winter/Christmas theme but I want it to be birthday too. Any ideas? Thanks!
