Caramel Cake Filling???

Does anyone have a easy , thick caramel cake filling recipe to share?? i've tried several ones, and they are either runny, or I can never get the sugar to cook properly.

Hi there If it is a quick easy and tasty filling you are wanting, this should do the job icon_smile.gif
I use dulce de leche I add about three heaped tablespoons of whipped topping and mix till all the whipped topping is blended. It is do creamy and yummy. Sometimes I add a few chocolate or butterscotch morsels to add a bit of texture. Hope this helps have a duper day.

Thick caramel sauce and filling by JodieF in Fillings, in the recipe section is to die for!!!! Made it twice and both times it came out perfectly and was a big hit. icon_biggrin.gif
