I need to make a 3d mario from fondant, I need help Please. This will be my first time trying to do this so I need all the help I can get, The cake is for a 5yr old who loves mario. The cake is due on Sat, Dec. 17,2011.

I would make him from rice krispy treats, then cover him in fondant. I have a mario cake in my gallery, you can pm me for specifics if you'd like. icon_smile.gif

I started with making two round balls for Mario's feet and building up from there. Use something to prop him up so that he doesn't fall while drying. There are only two toothpicks holding on his arms and one holding him down on the pipe. Everything is glued on with a small amount of water but you could use Tylose glue for a firmer hold.
