2D Yoda Out Of Fondant?

I would really like to put a picture of yoda on a sheet cake, but I thought maybe doing it in fondant would look better...I want it to have a little more depth/definition/texture than a FBCT. Do you think that would look okay? Any tips? Thanks everybody! Here is the picture I want...

I think he'd look good in fondant. I tend to like to do that sort of thing in modeling chocolate, though...easier to smooth seams, add texture, etc. The ninja cake in my photos was done like that.

Thanks so much! I had already started making him out of fondant when you replied, and he turned out well, but I can definitely tell that modeling chocolate would have been a better option. That will save me some frustration in the future. Thanks again!
