Hi All,

i forgot to add salt to the cake batter and put the cake in the oven ( infact it is baking right now). how will this alter the cake taste? i need to take this cake to a friend's place for dinner party...so plz help with any suggestions.

I rarely, add the salt in that is in the recipe's that comes with my cakes, and they always taste great, (no Worries).

It may be kind of ... flat-tasting. Just make sure you have a really flavorful buttercream and maybe filling and you'll be fine.
