Are you trying to make a Crib cake or just a gumpaste crib for the top of a cake? I have made both without using a template, not even sure if there are any.

For a gum paste crib topper, just use some graph paper and trace columns, (don't trace the top and bottom square of each column) onto a rectangle of gum paste then cut out every other row with an exacto knife.
