I need to make cupcake toppers about 3 days before party. I will be out of town so making Wed for Sat party. Taking edible image and placing on fondant circle. Does anyone have an idea the best way to store these. I still want them to be edible. If I left them out they would dry out. Just not sure how to store premade fondant circle with the image in it. Anyone done this before???? Wax paper? Saran wrap? Tupperware container? Thanks for the help.

I have stored mine on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper unwrapped. Even if they dry out they would still be "edible." Wouldn't you want them to dry out a little to hold shape when you put them on the cupcake? Based on the time you need to make and deliver them, they will not be as soft.

Dont leave them out!i think your best bet is to put them in a ziploc bag.

I would use shortening to adhere them to the fondant circle so that the moisture does not effect the image. Do not put them in light.
