I have read several post about teapot cakes here. A 6" seems small to me, presentation wise, did you stick with the 6" tiers/ball pan(how many servings). Or did you adjust it to a different size?

Also, any suggestions or tips are welcome icon_smile.gif

I did one with the ball pan, the full thing with the two halves is pretty big. I put that on top a 10 inch.

I used a stainless steel bowl and baked two, leveled and stacked them to get the basic shape. From ther you can carve in detail. You can make the handle, spout and top with gum paste. If you use the bowls, you can choose what size you want your tea pot. Good luck!
