i ve been asked to make a number 80 cake, i dont have the number tins so am thinkin of carving them, does anyone have any how to's or advice plz x
Standing 80 or laying down 80? Either way I would carve the numbers, using a template.
Go online and print up the number 80 in the size and font you need. Cut it out, place on the fondant/gumpaste and use an exacto knife, paring knife or pizza roller to cut it out.
I made this from two 9x13 cakes. I just carved it out. Left the center closed so the client had more cake.
