I was wondering what flavor icing others use on mexican chocolate cake?

Mexican chocolate on M. chocolate is a winner IMHO.
I think this might go very well with your cake. It is not too sweet.
Cinnamon Mascarpone Frosting
1 (8-ounce) tub of mascarpone cheese
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar
pinch of salt
2 cups heavy cream
