Wesson Quick Blend High Ratio Shortening Buttercream Recipe

Hi all, I had read on here some had said that the Wesson quick blend shortening was better than Sweetex and Alpine. I just ordered some Quick Blend and I was wondering if it is used the same as the others, can I use the same SugarShacks recipe? Also I purchased 12x powdered sugar do I use more or less than the 10x. Thanks in advance.
