I am planning on making a 3-D unicorn cake for my daughter's birthday. I want to make it laying down with it's head up. I've seen similar cakes made using the Wilton lamb pan, but was hoping for something a little larger. I was thinking of making the neck and head out of RKT, but don't know at all how to go about that! Do I need to make a form to attach the RKT? What is the best way to go about this?
You can decorate the lamb pan so that it look's like the unicorn's head is upright:

Or you can remove the lamb's head and add another one:

(I would dowel the head to the body.)
