If you are looking at it for cake decorating then I would strongly recommend the silhouette. Get the one thorugh Linda McClure, you can google her, as she has the proper blades for the machine to make it food safe. Tis way you canu se your computer to design and your possibilities are endless and you won't have to keep buying the expensive cartridges.

Debbie, I think she means "cricket" the game!

Looks to me like a rectangular cake, several layers, carved to round the ends. Then covered with fondant and details. I might start with two 12x18 half sheet cakes, then cut them in half to 6x18. Stack all four layers, then proceed with carving.

AHi all, I'm new to novelty cakes & I've been asked for a cricket bat too! What colour fondant did you use for the bat? I'm torn between skin & adding a tint or teddy bear brown

Thanks Gem x
