i am in need of help. I am attempting to do a cobra snake cake. I am making the head and hood out of rkt and need some help figuring out how to cover it with fondant/gumpaste. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Cover the RKT in white melted candy melts first. to get a smooth coat. Paint on or use your hands. Then put a thin coat of piping gel on to make the fondant stick. When you put your fondant on, work from the top and smooth down, as you would a round cake. If it's really big, you can 'wrap' it and you will end up with a bit of a seam that can be hidden. HTH!
