This might sound like a silly question, but can I swap out the water (200ml) in my frosting recipe for fruit juice such as guava or apricot nectar to achieve the fruit flavours? Has anyone done this? How did it turn out?
I'm a little hesitant to use the Lorann oils, as I have used them previously and had terrible results (I now know I was using far too much - but I'm still scared!)
Thanks in advance icon_smile.gif

I think you could but the small amount of liquid you use in frosting may not lend enough flavor. I find I never add more than 1/4 c of liquid if I make a triple batch and that isn't enouth. I've used seedless jam as flavoring with a good result because it is much thicker than juice.
