I have a request for handpainted cookies. She saw the wedding cake cookies I did for someone else (in my pics) and wants something similar-cherry blossoms but add a koi. My question is would you price a painted cookie differently than a cookie with RI? I'm wondering if a personalization charge would apply? She wants 175 cookies.
Thanks for your help!
Oh, and the reason I'm unsure about pricing even though I've painted cookies before is that the wedding cake cookies were my wedding gift to the couple.

I would think that changes to your pricing for painted vs. piped would have to do with how much time it takes you to do them. If it takes you additional time to paint the cookies vs. piping a design on them then figure out the extra time it will take, the hourly wage you want to make and divide from there. (For example if it takes you an extra 10 minutes per cookie and you want to make $18 per hour then charge an *extra* $3 per cookie.)
