I have America electric pink. Will adding a bit of red help achieve a HOT HOT pink/magenta?

I would add some violet if you don't have fuchsia. I added fuchsia to electric pink the other week and it was the perfect shade of magenta.

Is this for fondant to cover cake, for fondant accents, buttercream? There is a magenta dust. I had to order it for flowers I recently made.
