Zombie Cake Help...piping Gel Ooze

I'm making a zombie cake the day before the event,so that we can take pictures....will piping gel left sitting on the face eat away at the fondant?

I want to add pus like and blood like piping gel to some of the "wounds"

That's hard to say. If you have a small piece of fondant roll it out and place some gel on it and test it out before hand. Let us know if it works.
