Best Way To Stick Fondant To Buttercream

My buttercream cakes are crusted and my fondant attachments are dried. What is the best way to attach them to the cake? Piping Gel? Water?
TIA.
I usually spray the back of the fondant decorations with Pam spray. Water would work too.
Thank you! These are branches and I was afraid piping gel would run but I might try your Pam trick. Thanks!
I think piping gel would end up running on you. I always use just a little dab of water and they stick all the time
I've never tried Pam...I'm afraid for something heavier than a polka dot that might not work. I always use buttercream to secure fondant decor to my cakes. On occasion I've used Royal Icing.
I use edible glue.....equal proportions of water to Wilton's meringue powder. Make sure that your bc has completely crusted.....works like magic
