Can I Refrigerate These?

I made some cupcake toppers out of Wilton candy melts. Can I put them on the cupcakes and refrigerate them overnight? It says on the bag not to put the candy melts in the refrigerator, but I didn't know if that meant after you molded them, too, or only before. Thanks!

They'll be fine overnight in the fridge. But why do the cupcakes need to go into the fridge at all?

I guess the cupcakes don't need to be refrigerated, but I'm just worried about the toppers melting during transport in the car. I'm in Florida and it's still super hot here so I wanted them to have a good chance of staying cool. Thanks!
