Newbie just starting decorating what are must have items for beginners and what are your recommendations on a turn table.

I have the Wilton Tilt N Turn Ultra Cake Turntable. I love it. I like that I can angel it to write easier and also to make frozen butter cream transfers on. I haven't done scrolls on the side of a cake yet, but I'm sure it will make that easier as well lol. HTH
