Hi i am going to attempt to carve a sub, I have a few ideas on how to do this if anyone could give me a few pointers that would be great thanks.

sub cakes are actually really basic shapes...but it depends on how big you need it too.

I've done several-US Navy ones usually looking like they are just coming up.

Just carve the cigar shape- make it thinner at the back. Then make sure to put that cabin thing at the top- it's a rounded wedge... Just google pictures of subs. It's easy.

Also, put a wave splashing on the front, it looks cool.
