Dear all,

I have failed to melt white compound chocolate and I do not know why it is so difficult.

I used the same method for melting chocolate ... Double boil method. However, the white chocolate took a long time to melt and then when it finally did... It is lumpy. Not smooth and hence to be used in coating cake pops.

Where and how have I gone wrong?

I am desperately trying to do a cake pops with white chocolate. Not very willing to use the nice collected candy melted cos of the taste...

Any advice will be appreciated

Thanks a lot[/img]

I have luck when I add a bit of shortening to white chocolate. I don't know why it just works.
