Dragonfly Cake Ideas Please Help

My niece 16th b day is oct 1st and she loves dragonflies, I want to make it special for her but one problem 
I have only made all fondant cakes and she dislikes fondant she only likes it in the decorations ... Any ideas how to make a dragonfly icing cake with fondant decorations? please help!!
You could make one out of modelling chocolate(body) and use gel sheets or some other kind of edible material for the wings. Or candy melts in candy/choc molds (then you'd get color). I have seen dragon fly molds out there. Another option is to use a cookie decorated with RI. I have also seen some beautiful dragon fly cookies. You could put any of these on a BC cake or make smaller ones and put alll around the cake. Lastly, you could do an edible image of a dragon fly picture you like and put it on top of the cake OR do a FBCT. Have fun!
