I have an edible image i need to put on a cake..how do i remove it from the backing..i tried one already and it ripped apart!!! Thankyou for anyones advice!!!

Its been a hot summer. A lot of times heat + even a small amount of moisture can make it hard to peel edible images. Try popping it in the freezer for 30 seconds and trying again. You might also try rolling it, face up, against the edge of the counter to try and loosen it up a bit.

If you happen to have another backing sheet around, or a firm piece of paper like that, I would recommend working up a small corner section and then using the paper to scooch between the image and the backing sheet, rather than trying to pull it up. That may help with tearing.

Try flicking the corner of it alot of times it release itself that way.

I take my small pallet knife and run it under the image. It comes off easily. I done both of the images on this cake that way...
