What am I doing wrong? My figures I make out of Wilton's fondant, crack, then they look terrible up close. Is it the weather? or just somethin I am doing. I even tried adding small amount of shortening, but my Betty Boop still cracked. Anyone have tips for me.

are you adding tylose to the fondant? That's what I was taught.

I am buying Wilton's ready to use fondant, so no I have not added anything to it, except trying to add shortening to keep it from cracking.
