Patchwork Cutters...which Gumpaste? How About Pearl Clay?

Hi Everyone,

I am doing a baby shower cake in a couple of weeks with a few Patchwork Cutters decorations. Some will be painted once dry. What gumpaste recipe should I use?

I know Patchwork Cutters recommend a specific recipe (with gum
tragicanth, no substitutions!).

Will Jennifer's Pearl Clay work well?

Mexican paste is the best for patchwork cutters, but yes, you do need gum tragacanth for it.
