How To Make Fuschia Flowers *** Help Please ***

I hope someone can help me please. I usually make character cakes, not alot of flower decorated cakes. I'd agreed to make a pretty floral cake for a 100th birthday (no pressure then!). Now she's decided on a fuschia flower theme and I'm panicking as I was going to make roses and have no idea how to make fushias and don't know if anyone makes cutters. The party is on 18th Sept so I'll have to get cracking on a design and order the cutters if I can get hold of them from a UK supplier/internet. Anyone know? Also, are there any tutorials out there? Cheers Debs ![]()
Here is a tutorial I found online: http://dianesdecoratingdiary.blogspot.com/2009/05/fushcia-tutorial.html
Hope that helps!
There is one on youtube that is under fuschia gum paste flowers. Looks really simple.
FMM sells a two-piece cutter for fuschia and a short DVD on how to make them that you may be able to find at a local supply house or order on-line. Looks like this - note DVD just below the cutter photo

Wow, thanks guys for the help and quick response, really appreciative, Debs x
