Hi,
I found a simple tutorial on youtube, its in a different language, but it pretty simple just to see how the cupcakes are attached,

People start off with flower pots and weigh them down so it doesn't fall, and then people use polystrene balls to stick the cupcakes into it, and use cocktail sticks, and always stick the cupcakes on plain, not decorated.
