Has anybody ever tried mixing strawberry glazed with bettercreme? I'm looking for a strawberry filling, if not I will just use bettercreme as the filling.

I typically mix strawberry perserves with buttercream in lieu of any liquid, and then sometime you have to adjust by adding more powder sugar to stiffen. I would think that you could use strawberry glaze in the same fashion, add a little at a time and don't use any other liquid.
I have mixed it together and I have also put a thin layer of buttercream and a thin layer of glaze on top of it and it was fine...be sure to pipe a buttercream dam on the outside rim of the cake so it doesn't leak out.
