Hi,
I'm afraid the cake top with bride and groom are too top heavy. The base isn't much larger than a silver dollar. So I made a round gumpaste disc to distribute the weight so it won't fall over. was that a good idea?
Now how to I attach it to the disc. royal icing? melted white chocolate?
gumpaste glue? I don't know if they would want to leave it on the disc afterwards so need to make it sturdy enough but able to pry it off without breaking the bottom. It's ceramic. thank you.

The topper needs to be treated like an extra tier.
Use a cardboard or plastic round on the top of the cake. If it is THAT heavy, you may need to dowel under it. You can frost or fondant right over the round if you need to.
thank you. I wouldn't have thought about the dowel. ![]()
