Hi ladies. Got a question for you cricut users. I am considering buying a cricut but wanted to know can it be a regular cricut or does it NEED to be a cricut cake? Thanks icon_smile.gif

I've heard of people using both, I know the regular cricut is not made with food safe materials. I own a cricut cake and after spending that much on either one, I wouldnt want to ruin it by putting materials through it that arent made for that particular machine.

I agree with kisamarie. If you have the Cricut Cake, you can use the cartridges for either machine in it. But it is the only one that is made to be food safe.
