Not sure what possessed me to put my fondant covered cake in the fridge until I was ready to decorate, now it is sweating and tacky feeling. I haven't decorated it yet. Is there any way to get it dry so I can work with it. Will it dry on it's own, if so how long will it take? Thanks
From what other people have posted on this subject you will need to leave the cake alone and let it come to room temp and dry. I think people said it takes several hours. You can also use a fan to make it dry faster. The most important thing is NO TOUCHING or you will leave fingerprints and smudges. Just let it dry before you do anything with it. I don't have any experience with this but that's just what I've read a bunch of times when other posters have asked the same question. Hope this helps!
