I've made MMF a few times now and lately it seems like my powdered sugar is not completely mixing in making the mmf itself lumpy. I'm able to work our the lumps once I add some regular Wilton fondant but I'm not sure why it's happening. I've used name brand and store brand sugar, sifted and non sifted, name brand and off brand Marshmallows too. Can it just be the humidity?

I sifted and got the same result. I'm in Jersey so it could just be the weather!
