I done a cake covered in fondant with details. look ok the evening i done it then the next morning when it was going to be delivered the sides had developed sagging. What would have caused this? It was a 2 layer cake with buttercream icing. Should i allow the cake to sit and settle for a while before covering? or maybe to much buttercream?

Hi Pearl - not letting it settle usually will result with budging. Sagging can be cause from to much buttercream underneath, not getting the fondant firmly against the buttercream or possibly the fondant melting. icon_smile.gif
