I just completed a 2 tiered fondant cake and am storing it in a corrugated box until delivering tomorrow at 4pm. Should I be worried about it smelling or tasting like cardboard?
I wouldn't worry too much about it. I have heard of people putting cakes in a cardboard box in the fridge to help with the condensation on fondant. I have never had this problem, but those that do say it works...if it affected the tast I am pretty sure they wouldn't do it.HTH
