Hopefully this will be a quick question....Is there a particular direction to smooth fondant once its applied to the cake?
Upwards? Downwards? Anywards?
I wouldn't want to thin out the fondant or cause undue pressure to cause tears!
Thanks Mexx...I tried that and so far no tears and no cracks! I kind of got the hang of it in a few seconds...you kind of find a rhythm that works.
i need some help im making a birthday cake that involves a coach purse, high heels, a tiffany box and sunglass's im not sure how to make thin glass for the glass's please help i have to make the cake in a week
