I have a request to make a birthday cake for the 60th birthday of a female comedian. Don't seem to be able to come up with any ideas. Any suggestions? Would really appreciate some help on this one. thanks
My instant thought was a sheet cake with a big red lipstick mouth, with a speech bubble and something like "Ha Ha Happy Birthday" coming out of it. My imagination isn't up to much today, but just an idea!
I would ask the person who requested the cake about the type of jokes she uses...is there a theme to her act...has she ever done a show in Vegas or Atlantic City? Her in a car traveling the roads to different shows...Does she use props?
If she's a comedian, how about a cake that says "Happy 6th Birthday"! And a chicken crossing the road! (WHY? I don't know!) I know both are silly but for the right person, silly is good! Good luck!
