I made some cakes throughout the week and have them frozen in my freezer. I want to fill them, ice them and cover them in fondant on Friday so that I can just put on the decorations Saturday. Can I do all of this while the cakes are still frozen? I've never dealt with frozen cakes and don't know how to go about it.
P.S. I'm sure there's a thread somewhere, but to be honest i'm just being lazy. =P
Thanks in advance.
You def want to thaw the cakes prior to covering them with fondant. This way they wont sweat underneath the fondant avoiding yourself a misshap. As far as icing them and filling them you'd stil prob just want to take them out at least a little while ahead of time. HTH ![]()
