Somewhere I read that the deep cut blades for the cricut cake can also be used on the Silhouette. Has anyone done this and does it work good? If not, where can I buy the deep cut blades for fondant besides from Linda McClure? I am only looking for the blade and housing and not her package deal.
TIA

The cricut blade you are talking about is the knife that cuts the material. It is the replacement blade that fits several different cutters. It fits in the blade housing that has been modified to be used with the silhouette. You have to get the housing unit from Linda McClure to fit with your Silhouette. It is the blade that works best for cutting gum paste or icing sheets.

Linda developed the housing and as far as I know is the only outlet for it. She has an accessory package that includes the blade and housing.
