It looks like this cake has gotten wet somehow...with the bleeding on the ribbon. not sure if it's buttercream or not..hhhmmm

sorry I was no help...but it looks like regal purple to me.

This purple looks like royal purple by americolor to me. Start with little color , add more as you achieve the color. Others may have a different point of view. Its not violet, but more royal purple.
