I need a good stable buttercream recipe. I've tried about a dozen out there and haven't found anything that 1. decorates well, 2. taste great, and 3. takes food coloring well. Should I try swiss meringue buttercream, or a non-dairy whip frosting (bettercream)????[/b]

Go to Sams Club. 28lb bucket of Fill & Spread Buttercream for around $30. Tastes great, takes color really good and smooths with the Viva! My family loves it!
