Buttercream On Top Of Fondant???

hello i'm wondering if you can add buttercream on top of a fondant convered cake??? i thought you could only put royal icing but have just recently read that these people used buttercream to add accents to the fondant on their cake....anyone can tell me anything about it i would appreciate it! thanks icon_smile.gif

Yes, you can use b/c on top of fondant. Many decorators do. I have also done it. hth

hi thanks so much! so it won't slide right off of my cake ?// is it if i want to attach something ot my fondant that i need to use either fondant glue or royal icing? thanks. icon_smile.gif
