So I made my chocolate covered pretzel rods for the goal posts on my football cake just like I did before. But it's so hot the chocolate won't stay strong enough out of the fridge and they broke. So then I made some out of gumpaste, let them dry for awhile, then stuck them in. I don't do much with gumpaste and obviously it wasn't dried through, and an hour later they were broken and tipped over. I just made another set to dry overnight, but I'm worried they won't be. This cake is for tomorrow. Any other suggestions for goal posts in case these don't work??? Thanks!

How about straws or those sticks for cake pops? You can 'glue' them together with piping gel, maybe? I have never made goal posts before, so I'm sorry I'm not much help. I hope your second gumpaste post works for you.
