Making a get well soon cake and I'm using chocolate buttercream. What should I use to make flowers and do writing? I'm planning on using pastel colors. I just didn't know if buttercream would make it taste weird or not.

Thanks, just wasn't sure if the taste's would go together. I'm not a chocolate cake fan so I had no idea.
