I am looking for a stand recommendation.

It needs to be able to hold upto 150 cupcakes and be able to be used with any number of the tiers.

Clear Acrylic, not colored

And ideally square, and I like the twisted style ones.

The reason I am asking is I've seen some horror stories for stands and don't want to get caught out, as I can't afford two!!

I bought mine from efavormart.com & I love it... But... Based on the reviews here on CC I don't recommend buying it from there... A lot of members have been complaining about recieving defected parts & the company not taking responsibility... In other words huge headache

I would try eBay ...
Also try using google to search for similar topics here on CC. I know that the "Cupcake Stand" topic has been mentioned A LOT... Just search for "cupcake stands cakecentral" make sure you use google..
You should find a lot of recommendations for websites

I bought a very expensive one Ebay from classicool or something like that. i would NOT recommend it.

I bought one from cupcaketree.com and it works great! It's not very expensive, and I have used it twice. They have round and square models.
