Can You Help Me...gumpaste In Mold Question?

I'm going to make a birdcage out of gumpaste and was going to use a large oval shaped glass mug as my "mold", my question is what do line the cup with to prevent sticking? thanks for advice

I'd use plastic wrap dusted with powder sugar myself.

For my teacups in my pics I used real teacups and saucers as molds. I greased them with crisco and as the pieces were drying on the molds, I would move them slightly just to keep it from sticking. Worked really well.

ok thanks! maybe I'll try both methods, was going to make 2 'just in case'!
